The Golf Club Of Amelia Island

With its specacular setting along the Atlantic shoreline, The Golf Club of Amelia Island combines magnificent scenery with exhilarating golf experiences. Designed by PGA-TOUR veterans Mark McCumber and Gene Littler, this 18-hole, award-winning, championship course is carefully maintained year ’round. While it will challenge you, it will also offer enough forgiveness to remind you that golf, after all, is still a game. The course is just a few steps away from any place at Summer Beach Resort.

Discounted individual golf rounds and golf packages for two or more people are offered to our rental guests. Group golf is also available, as are group tournaments.

Not to be forgotten are the excellent food and beverages available in the dining room, offering breakfast, a daily lunch buffet, menu service until 3:00 p.m. and a gourmet brunch on Sundays.

Improve Your Game

Shaving strokes off your game is the goal of our professional staff of golf instructors, certified by both the PGA and the LPGA. We offer daily, weekly and bi-weekly lessons and clinics, and the driving range open daily for your use. And if you’re unable to bring your clubs, the pro shop offers top-of-the-line rentals in both right- and left-handed sets.

Our pro shop is proud to offer the finest in golf equipment, accessories and apparel for men, women and children. We strive to offer our guests the latest in fashion from such leading brands as Pete Millar, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Polo, Cutter and Buck, EP Pro, Tail and Sport Haley. Our children's apparel attracts parents and grandparents alike who want a souvenir to take home to the kids. Special orders are accommodated promptly, and gift certificates are always available.

What Florida day would be complete without a visit to our Beach Club and Snack Bar? It is centrally located in Summer Beach Village.

Situated at the edge of the dune line and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Beach Club Pool and Snack Bar offers our guests a chance to mingle and dine casually. Also available are two lighted tennis courts.
